The Team

We are two local boys with 16 years of experience in the staffing industry. Andre Lapierre and Bernie Plouffe, owner-operators, have worked in all aspect of the staffing industry from being associates themselves, to recruiting, sales and management for one the largest multi-national staffing agency in the world.

To insure the best quality service for our clients and associate, we have entered in a partnership with Staffing Edge. Our partner has eight years of experience in providing state-of-the art staffing management technology to staffing companies across Canada. Having Staffing Edge providing our back office support will allow us to focus on you, our associates and clients. As well being a member of Staffing Edge links NES to a network of Agencies across our great Nation.

André Lapierre and Bernie Plouffe are the Owners and Operators of Northern Employment Solutions Inc. We are both born and raised in the Sudbury and surrounding area.

Bernie has worked in the employment industry for approximately 15 yrs while working out of the Ottawa area and throughout his career he has experienced almost every aspect of the Industry from ounce being an Associate himself to becoming the Accounts Receivable Officer of an International Employment Agency before deciding to leave and join the NES team. Bernie is proud to be bringing his experience, industry knowledge and integrity to his hometown where he plans on making a life long commitment to making NES the First Choice Employers of the North.

André has spent the last 10 years fine tuning his skills by recruiting, and managing, directing and head hunting for start-up businesses, retail stores and marketing companies before becoming a Sales Executive for one of the largest International Employment Agencies in the world. He has travelled all over North America to gain the knowledge and experience that he knew was needed to open up his own business. Andre is truly proud of his hometown of Sudbury and he feels that with the services that NES has in place, employers and employees can come together in a way that has never been seen before.
